About ProdentHub

A trusted bridge between an overseas dental qualification and confident Australian practice.

We prepare overseas-trained dentists to practise to the standard of a recently qualified Australian graduate — through a structured, evidence-based programme that builds genuine clinical reasoning rather than memorised answers.

Why we exist

The gap between knowing dentistry and practising it in Australia.

The pattern we kept seeing

Overseas-trained dentists routinely fail the ADC Written Examination not because they lack dental knowledge, but because the exam tests clinical reasoning in the Australian context — and most preparation resources teach past questions rather than the underlying competencies.

What changed our approach

The ADC itself defines the target: the expected competencies of a recently qualified Australian dental practitioner at the point of graduation. Most candidates have never been taught against that target — they were taught against their home-country curriculum.

“The ADC assessment for overseas qualified dental practitioners is based on the expected competencies of a recently qualified Australian dental practitioner at the point of graduation from an ADC accredited dental program.”

— Australian Dental Council, Professional Competencies of the Newly Qualified Dental Practitioner

Passing the exam is the visible outcome. The real outcome is practising safely and confidently in Australia.

Three frameworks. Daily structure. No tricks.

We do not teach to past papers. We teach the reasoning the ADC actually tests.

Miller’s Pyramid — cognitive progression

From recall to applied reasoning over six months. Every course in the programme sits at a defined Miller’s level so progression is explicit, not implicit.

Months 1–2

Knows

Recall the fact. You know what caries is, the WHO classification of periodontitis, the name of a drug.

Months 2–4

Knows How

Apply the fact in a clinical context. Sealant versus restoration; bitewing interpretation; this antibiotic, not that one.

Months 4–6

Shows How

Reason through a full scenario — gather information, weigh differentials, justify a management plan. This is what the ADC tests.

The ADC competency framework

Every day, every quiz item, every self-assessment is mapped to the ADC’s published competency structure.

5

examined domains

13

disciplines

3

transversal subjects

Domains: Social Responsibility & Professionalism · Health Promotion · Clinical Information Gathering · Diagnosis & Management Planning · Clinical Treatment & Evaluation. Transversal: Radiology, Pharmacology, Implantology — integrated daily.

Three pillars every weekday

Same content, three cognitive loads. Read it. Drill it. Challenge it.

Curated content

≈ 2 hours of focused reading. Connects ADC domains with disciplines so you see the lattice, not isolated facts.

25-question quiz

Knows + Knows How. Every item: why it’s right, why each distractor is wrong, the source, something to remember.

5-question self-assessment

Surface the gap between intuition and Australian evidence. Test analytical capacity, not pattern recall.

No tricks. No grammar traps. No past-paper drilling.

Distractors are built from documented clinical misconceptions and reasoning errors. If a question can be answered by spotting a phrasing trick, we do not publish it. We treat candidates as adults preparing for clinical responsibility — not as test-takers to be tricked.

What’s included in every product.

And what we will never claim.

Unlimited revisits

Repeat any week, any quiz, any number of times within your access window.

Expert feedback

Every quiz item has a written explanation, distractor analysis, cited source, and something to remember.

Australian sourcing

Therapeutic Guidelines, ADA, NHMRC, AHPRA, state health departments first. No past-paper recall banks.
