Learning Platform Australia (ABN 37 895 465 392), trading as ProdentHub, is committed to protecting the personal information we collect from visitors to prodenthub.com.au and customers of app.prodenthub.com.au. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and share that information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
We collect the minimum personal information necessary to provide our products and improve the service:
- Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register on the platform.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe (Stripe Australia Pty Ltd). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data: pages visited, quiz attempts, scores, time on page. Collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Hotjar for product improvement.
- Device data: device category, browser, operating system, screen resolution, country and city (city-level via GA4).
- Communications: any email you send us at contact@prodenthub.com.au.
2. How we use it
- To provide, maintain and improve the platform.
- To process payments via Stripe and issue tax invoices.
- To send essential account communications (receipts, password resets, subscription renewal notices, trial expiry).
- To analyse aggregated usage and improve content and UX.
3. What we will not do
- We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We will not share your data with advertisers for cross-site tracking beyond standard GA4 / Meta Pixel events.
- We will not use your email for marketing without your explicit opt-in.
4. Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties (each with their own privacy policies):
- Stripe — payment processing. Privacy policy.
- Google (Analytics, Fonts) — usage analytics and font hosting. Privacy policy.
- Hotjar — UX analytics. Privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — ad pixel and social referrals. Privacy policy.
- AWS — hosting of the marketing site (Sydney region).
5. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as you maintain an account, plus seven years for tax and legal compliance. Usage data is retained in GA4 with a 14-month rolling window. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us.
6. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your information.

7. Cookies
We use functional cookies (session, preferences) and analytics cookies (GA4, Hotjar). You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser at any time without affecting account functionality.
8. Children
Our platform is intended for dental graduates aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes are communicated to active account holders by email.
